Account Manager Biotechnology (m/f/d) DACH

To strengthen our sales team in the field of biotechnology, we are looking for a full-time Account Manager (m/f/d) based in southern Germany around Villingen-Schwenningen, Ulm, München, Kempten (Allgäu) to serve our customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as soon as possible. You support our customers primarily in the field. We are offering a permanent contract.

Salesperson, contact person, consultant, product trainer: You are all this and more. You represent our organization as a salesperson to the major players in the biotechnology industry. We trust in your competences. If you see opportunities to open doors at new organizations or identify potentially interesting trends, we want you to share your ideas with us.

A few examples of your activities

  • You are (pro)active in acquisition. You actively approach potential customers and arrange appointments. You do this via various channels such as social media, trade fair searches and other networks

  • You will be responsible for selling our products

  • You are in close contact with customers and maintain existing customer relationships

  • You will carry out tests and offer application advice to interested parties on site

  • You create sales projects on your own responsibility

  • You follow the developments of our customers and the market, recognise trends and carry out market analyses

  • You will always work on achieving the turnover and profit targets by effectively selling our products.

  • You maintain and update customer data in the CRM system and create sales forecasts

With your natural affinity for sales, great flexibility with regard to our product portfolio, persuasiveness and winning mentality, you will help us to successfully achieve our goals. You are a team player and enjoy working in close cooperation with your colleagues. You have a clear communication style and find it easy to approach people. You are able to quickly familiarize yourself with things you are not yet aware of and enjoy taking on new challenges.

You also have:

  • A completed (scientific) degree, e. g. in biotechnology and/or life sciences

  • A minimum of three years experience in sales in a compareable position

  • A high degree of willingness to travel and work from international destinations

  • Very good communication and negotiation skills in the German language and good English skills

  • Driving experience and a class B driving licence
