ABOUT THE JOB

Become a part of I&L and support us in a diverse area of responsibility around the booking of business transactions, the preparation of financial statements as well as the reconciliation of issues in an international, European context.

A few examples of your activities

• Responsibility for proper accounting in accordance with local accounting standards

• Contributing to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

• Ensuring proper documentation of transfer prices between the individual business units

• Cooperation with external auditors and contact person for tax authorities

• Monitoring and clarification of open items incl. implementation of the dunning process

• Active participation in projects for the organisation, digitalisation and optimisation of accounting processes

WHAT YOU BRING 

• Successfully completed commercial training, ideally with further training as a balance sheet accountant (m/f/d) or successfully completed training as a tax clerk (m/f/d)

• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting

• Knowledge of DATEV would be an advantage

• Confident handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel

• Fluent in German, good knowledge of English, knowledge of French is an advantage but not a must

• Reliable, independent and structured way of working

• Distinct ability to work in a team, affinity for numbers as well as high self-motivation
