We’re looking for a highly skilled customer service representative to join our team to handle quotations, email requests/calls, and orders using a friendly and helpful approach. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can think on their feet and resolve any issues with a good sense of business mentality.

From our office in Troisdorf, we provide services to various customers in the Biotechnology sector throughout Europe.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You are the interface between our customers and suppliers

  • Together with your colleagues, you manage and monitor the entire buying and selling process of incoming enquiries and orders

  • You ensure correct administrative processing of quotations, orders, invoices and work orders in the ERP system

  • You prepare the shipments so that everything is ready for transport on time (incl. customs)

  • You handle incoming calls and e-mails and handle customer complaints

  • You support the Sales and Technical Service department with various tasks such as follow-up calls to customers, scheduling and deadline control etc.

  • You also perform various office management tasks

THIS IS YOU

  • You have a completed commercial education, a degree in business administration or a similar qualification

  • You have at least three years of experience in a comparable position, preferably in a distribution company

  • You have excellent communication skills (especially on the phone)

  • You are service-oriented and have good planning and organisational skills

  • You have experience in customs (preferable)

  • You have an affinity for IT (e.g. good knowledge of MS Office) and experience with ERP systems (Exact is an advantage)

  • You are fluent in German and in English (French is an advantage)

  • You want to keep developing yourself and enjoy helping to build

  • You enjoy working in an international organisation
